The Village of Philmont will hold a public Hearing on Wednesday, July 26th, 2006 at 6:30 pm in the Village Of Philmont Hall to take public comment on changes and additions to the Philmont Zoning Law and the Water meeting law and the creation of a Pooper Scooper Law. Copies are available in the village office for review. The public is invited to attend.

Be it resolved that the annual election of and for the Village of Philmont will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at the Village Hall Assembly Room between the hours of 12:00 noon and 9:00 P.M. One mayor for a two year term, one trustee for a one year term, two trustees for a two year term each and one justice for a four year term are to be elected from the following candidates:

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Village of Philmont, located within the County of Columbia, State of New York, will receive sealed bids for the sale of real property and improvements located at 8 Ellsworth Street in the Village of Philmont. The property is being sold AS IS with no warranties. Persons wishing to inspect the premises prior to bidding may do so on Friday, January 27, 2006 by contacting the Village Clerk at (518) 672-7032. Additionally, a real property condition disclosure statement will be available for review by prospective bidders at that time.
All sealed bids must be received no later than 2:00 o’clock P.M. Monday February 13, 2006. The sealed bids will be opened at the regular Village Board meeting Monday February 13, 2006 at 6:30 o’clock p.m. or as soon thereafter as may be practicable The minimum bid amount is $36,000.00. A deposit of 10% of the successful bid price will be due within 5 days of the bid award. The closing and transfer of title must take place within 30 days after the bid award. All bids should be sent to the Village Hall, 122 Main Street, P.O. Box 00, Philmont, New York, 12565. The Village may reject all bids and readvertise for new bids in its discretion.

Instead a public hearing will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 for public comment on the final plan approval of the Summit Heights Project.
