The committee was formed to create all electronic and printed communications for the Claverack Democrats. The first effort was the creation of a media campaign for the 2003 election. This website—claverack.org—emerged from that campaign, was launched in 2003, and then was expanded in 2004 to include a section on town government. The Claverack listserv, an e-mail tool for Claverack Democrats, was established in 2004.
The Democrats for Claverack Campaign 2005 made good use of this website, four billboards, many, many lawn signs placed all over our town, a personal presence at campaign headquarters in Philmont at 104 Main Street, and other media (including Max Dannis's Big Blue Bus) to support our four candidates for local office—Max Dannis for Town Supervisor, Katy Cashen and Cyndy Hall for Town Board, and Jenny Post for Town Clerk.
